I’m open to designing for anyone who is on my site and genuinely feels we’re a good match (when you know you know).
But more specifically, I’d say if you’re browsing around and still curious if the project you have is right for me, feel free to send in a client application anyway. I review each one and the real purpose of the application is to ensure we’re suited for each other before I agree to take on the project.
I want us both to feel totally comfortable and excited to work together, rather than unsure. So feel free to send me an email if you have any questions I haven’t answered here or even check out my Instagram to learn a little more about me!
No, I do not offer payment plans but my larger projects are all offered as split payments over the course of us working together. For example, if I’m designing a custom website for you, instead of $2,400 upfront cost. It’ll be a 50% deposit, 25% at the halfway point and the final 25% at completion (4-6 weeks out, depending on the project).
Each project varies greatly. It all depends on how many pages you’d like done, are we adding an e-commerce store? A blog? Doing graphics and animations? Different functionalities take longer to implement, so the time taken I can only quote once you’ve given me the full scope of the project you have in mind.
As a baseline, a custom website will be at least four weeks. That allows plenty of time to do a business strategy session, agree on a vision, implement and do two rounds of revisions. (Plus allows you the time to get me all your photos, video, and copy).
Yes, if we are building you a site from scratch and you have a service based business. Showit is most definitely my recommended website builder.
(E-commerce stores I build on Shopify).
Showit is not only incredibly flexible and easy to use when it comes to design and creativity, but it’s also insanely easy to update for you as a client once I hand over the reins (I’ll even leave you with tutorial videos and a guide). I’ve explored a lot of different website builders and while each one has its pros and cons, Showit’s pros outweigh the cons of other builders I’ve used.
That being said, if you are someone who already has their site on another website builder platform and aren’t ready to make the switch, but you still want a revamp - Please still feel free to reach out. I have plenty of experience in other website builders and although I may be a bit more limited design-wise I’d still be more than happy to see what we can do to improve what you’re working with.
Yes! To an extent. I offer Brand Refresh, my branding service add-on. This service is not a full marketing/graphic design/brand-vision overhaul, but it is a service that will give those who don’t have a clear vision or direction, a cohesive look, feel and tone to their brand.
So although I don’t design logos or create custom graphics, if you’re lost on choosing a color palette for your website, a logotype, or the font you think best suits your style, then I’m here to help.
You’ll be left with a solid brand messaging, a color palette, font pairings, a simple type logo (if you don’t have one), and a branding guide (of where and how to use your brand messaging). This add-on is really for those who just need a starting point in their branding and it’s great to begin using and implementing on socials as well, in newsletters, blogs, etc.
I have a Design Menu just for this very thing. You can pick and choose what services you may need that I offer, and if it’s not listed there, you can always e-mail me directly to inquire about a specific request.
Yes I do offer copywriting as an add on service! Naturally, without the add-on I’ll ensure whatever you’ve given me has no typos or grammatical errors. However, if you want additional help in editing, shaping your message, or ensuring it’s going to convert clients, I do have copywriting as a part of my add-ons in my Design Menu.
My goal is to make sure you feel fully confident in updating your site long after i’m gone. I’ll be leaving you with a cheatsheet guide to editing on Showit as well as video tutorials so you can swap out images, update text, colors, and sizing.
I am available for maintenance services as well if you have a site that needs constant updating and would rather outsource than do it yourself, that’s a monthly service that starts at $130 (major updates).
Showit is a drag and drop website builder that allows myself extreme creativity when it comes to website building. Unlike other builders that are programmed to be very user-friendly — while easy to navigate and use, they detract from the customization aspect.
Showit lends itself to more design flexibility but it isn’t as intuitive to use for a beginner, as is a site like Squarespace, for example.
However, that's not something you'll have to worry about as a client of mine. I’ll be leaving you with a Showit guide and tutorial videos so you can feel confident enough to modify and update elements even after I’m gone!
That way, we get the best of both worlds: a site that allows me full creative control and that you know how to use.
